Two fired Phoenix police officers are out on bond, and Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell says her office is now reviewing every open AND closed case involving Antonio Felix and Luis Vasquez Jr.
Court documents say the officers admitted the traffic stop happened — they just never reported it. No radio call. No dispatch entry. No body cameras turned on.
The forensic download of Felix’s Taser showed 6 safety activations and 29 separate discharge events in one encounter. Both men are now on the Brady list — meaning any conviction built on their testimony is in question.
Plus: ABC15 uncovered a separate lawsuit against Felix over a 2023 on-duty crash where the OTHER driver got cited. That case goes to arbitration September 18.
