A North Carolina corporal was arrested at his home and fired by command staff within the same weekend, after a woman came forward over a May incident in neighboring Harnett County.
Joseph Jerome Rusk-Madison of the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office now faces charges of striking a female and communicating threats, and is being held in the Harnett County Detention Center under a 48-hour hold.
