Christian Eder: Ex-Amarillo Cop Charged With 78 Counts Over Flock Cameras

Former Amarillo police officer Christian Eder ran his romantic rival’s license plate through Flock cameras 76 times in five months — typing official-sounding reasons into the system to cover his tracks. An internal audit caught every search. He was fired July 17. The public learned 33 days later, only after a news station started asking. Now he faces 78 counts of tampering with government records — and pled not guilty after turning himself in at the Potter County Detention Center.

This is the 7th Flock misuse case this channel has covered — from Goodson, FL (717 searches) to Katy, TX (2,386 lookups) to a Georgia prison system investigator charged just this week.

Should Amarillo cancel its Flock contract? What’s your take?
