Theodore Henderson: Trooper Admits Punching Passenger He Pulled By The Dreadlocks

Arkansas State Police released their own dashcam video. It shows Trooper Theodore “Teddy” Henderson breaking a rear window with his baton, grabbing a passenger by the wrist and his dreadlocks, and striking him twice with a closed fist — and Henderson’s own incident report admits all of it.

Tedrick Washington, 23, was the PASSENGER. The driver was the one who fled at 130 mph and blew nearly twice the legal limit. Washington was charged with obstruction and resisting — for being in the car.

There is no administrative finding on Henderson’s use of force in the released records. A second Arkansas trooper, Moisses Arellano, was caught on dashcam 18 days earlier in the same county telling an 18-year-old woman he would punch her again during a traffic stop. The state police reviewed that one and called it not excessive.
