Ex-Deputy Sheriff Candidate Caught After 9 Months On The Run

Antaney Hogan ran for sheriff in 2024. Now he’s in a Florida jail cell. The former Clayton County deputy and Cobb County sheriff candidate was arrested in Jacksonville after nine months on the run from fraud warrants across Georgia — accused of a $20,000 ‘air loan’ for a building that never existed, selling a car in uniform without a title, selling a truck he didn’t own, and taking money meant for his children’s medical costs. His old department fired him two weeks after a scam complaint. One victim sent 28 texts demanding a title. His response: ‘They have to find me to serve me.’ They found him. #OhDangReally
