Jarrod Bishop, a training lieutenant with the Duncan, Oklahoma Police Department, was booked into the Stephens County Jail at 2:52 a.m. after an off-duty vehicle-pedestrian collision that took a pedestrian’s life.
Complaints filed against him include a second-degree felony, leaving the scene of a collision with a fatality, and obstructing an officer, according to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Department and News9.
The Duncan Police Department has placed him on administrative leave. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is leading the investigation. The victim has not been publicly named, and officials have not released further details.
