The Docket

Updated Oct 9, 2026. The Docket is our running board of court movement on cases we have covered: pleas, sentences, releases, and hearing dates. Refreshed weekly — this edition catches up on everything since mid-September.

The Movement

DAVID RUSH (CIA) — GUILTY. The gold-bars case resolved on schedule: Rush pleaded guilty Oct 6 in Alexandria federal court to a single count of wire fraud, admitted exposing a secret intelligence source to a foreign official, and agreed to forfeit roughly 194 million dollars. Sentencing is set for Jan 28 — he faces up to 20 years. Our coverage →

Sgt. CAMERON LIVSEY (DeKalb County, GA) — INDICTED IN THE COLD CASE. A grand jury hit the serving sergeant with twelve counts — rape, kidnapping, armed robbery and more — in the 2011 Exchange Park attack on two teenagers. His own federal arrest cracked it: a legally required DNA sample matched evidence that had sat unsolved for fifteen years. Our coverage →

Lt. JEREMY HARRISON (Joliet, IL) — FELONY CHARGES. A Will County grand jury indicted the command-staff lieutenant Oct 7 on computer tampering and official misconduct over Flock camera system misuse — and he is appealing his termination on top of it. Our coverage →

HENRICO COUNTY, VA — 122 CAMERAS OUT. The county is ripping its Flock camera network out entirely as the national charge wave keeps growing — roughly twenty badged employees charged, fired or arrested this year over plate-reader and database misuse, from Georgia to Indiana to Virginia. Our coverage →

Cpl. SEAN FARRELL (Pottsgrove, PA) — PRELIM WAIVED. The wrong-door voluntary manslaughter case heads to county court: Farrell waived his Oct 15 preliminary hearing on Oct 8, so the case moves straight to the Court of Common Pleas. Our coverage →

SCHOENEGGE & BURCH (Canton, OH) — SENTENCED. The two former officers in the Frank Tyson restraint case drew three years of probation each on Sept 24, with 90 days in jail suspended and credit for four days already served. Our coverage →

GERALD GOINES (Houston) — FEDERAL PROBATION. The Harding Street raid’s lead officer got probation Sept 15 on his federal cover-up plea — stacked on the 60-year state term he is already serving. Our coverage →

On The Calendar

Oct 14 — Cpl. Ryan Hernigle, Gloversville City Court, 8:30 a.m. ET (felony falsifying-records case, pushed from September). Coverage →
Oct 14 — Sgt. Rachel Black, case-management hearing, Florida women’s prison smuggling case. Coverage →
Oct 15 — Officer Matthew Cotter, continued arraignment, Barnstable District Court MA. Coverage →
Oct 29 — Deputy James Heneghan, hearing, Hancock Superior Court 2, Greenfield IN (the 6,196-search Flock case). Coverage →
Jan 28 — David Rush sentencing, federal court, Alexandria VA. Coverage →

Charges are allegations; everyone named is presumed innocent unless convicted in court. Entries reflect public court records and published reporting as of the date above.
